New Look Christmas Blogger Competition!

When I saw New Look, where having a Christmas party outfit competition, I jumped at the chance to enter. I love New Look as a brand, they give gorgeous clothes at affordable prices and their shoe department is easily one of the best on the high-street  Anyway, enough of the shameless flattery, this is my "Christmas Party Competition" entry. My body type is hourglass, so I styled for an hourglass figure along with shoes and accessories.

In all honesty, I had a really hard time picking a dress, my favourites were this, this, this and this.

I finally decided on the last one as it's velvet AND peplum, which are two of my favourite trends right now. Plus, the mesh sleeves are a bonus as I'm not too fond of my arms and it keeps them covered, but it's still sexy at the same time. And for £19.99, you can't go wrong!

I would put the studded belt, just about the start of the peplum at the waist, to define the waist and add some edginess. Those bracelts are actually buy one get one free and would make a statement when stacked together. I would use the clutch as an envelope clutch that would match the shoes. The rings would look great as at the minute, a key trend is lots of rings on one hand, whether stacked on one finger of over a few..  Make make-up dark and smokey!
