My favourite brush to apply pretty much any foundation (these 3 included) is the Real Techniques Buffing Brush, I use the foundation brush (also from the core collection) to dab the liquid around my face first and then buff it in. The coverage on these foundations is perfect for me, it's medium with the ability to build into quite heavy coverage. They come either in tube form or with a pump so application is really easy and you never use too much product. Price wise they are at the higher end of the "drug-store", but I really do think they're worth it. The last a good 8 hours, especially if a setting powder has been used. I really do love these foundations, they give me great coverage; aren't too orange' don't leave me with streaks and people always comment saying my skin looks nice (which it certainly doesn't lol) I find the smooth effect leaves quite a sticky finish, but it lasts for ages, and I use my rimmel powder over it and it's perfect. I can't recommend these enough and hope you give them a go!
Are you a Max Factor fan and what's your favourite foundation?

I use the Face infinity foundation in the colour Beige and I LOVE IT! It matches my skin tone perfectly and i am a huge fan of this product!

Me too Linsey :) x
DeleteYou know, I haven't seen Maxx Factor at U.S drug stores. Is there a reason? I tried searching through Target, Bartell's, and Wal-Green's and none of them carry the brand. I was actually looking for something specific - the concealer stick. Anyway, if you know of any discontinuation, let me know.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I'm sorry wish I had some sort of info, but I have no clue lol! Try online :) xx
Deletethere sister brand is cover girl so you could look there! xx
DeleteLots of foundation there. I have really sensitive skin so Max Factor products don't work that well with me. I use Clarins :)

DeleteI really wanted to buy the the Face Finity today but alas the lightest shade is too dark for me! Have you tried the CC cream they have? I was going to get that today too but I wasn't sure as I hadn't seen many reviews on it!

Awww what a pity, normally the MF shade range is good for us paler gals! I haven't, I'm tempted though :) x
DeleteI've personally never got on with max factor foundations, my skin is too oily for them but I do use their panstick as a concealer or applied lightly all over on the days I just want a little bit of coverage!
