Max Factor Foundation Addict

Max Factor Xperience - £9.99
Max Factor Face Finity All day Flawless - £11.99
Max Factor Smooth Effect - £7.99
Max Factor is such an under hyped brand and not talked about enough on blogs for my liking. I'm a firm fan, especially of their foundations and their false lash effect mascara. I tend to not stray at all from their foundation as their shade range is perfect for pale skin like mine. At the minute, my favourite is the face finity, which I've recently repurchased as you can tell this one is nearly finished!

My favourite brush to apply pretty much any foundation (these 3 included) is the Real Techniques Buffing Brush, I use the foundation brush (also from the core collection) to dab the liquid around my face first and then buff it in. The coverage on these foundations is perfect for me, it's medium with the ability to build into quite heavy coverage. They come either in tube form or with a pump so application is really easy and you never use too much product. Price wise they are at the higher end of the "drug-store", but I really do think they're worth it. The last a good 8 hours, especially if a setting powder has been used. I really do love these foundations, they give me great coverage; aren't too orange' don't leave me with streaks and people always comment saying my skin looks nice (which it certainly doesn't lol) I find the smooth effect leaves quite a sticky finish, but it lasts for ages, and I use my rimmel powder over it and it's perfect. I can't recommend these enough and hope you give them a go!

Are you a Max Factor fan and what's your favourite foundation?

  2. You know, I haven't seen Maxx Factor at U.S drug stores. Is there a reason? I tried searching through Target, Bartell's, and Wal-Green's and none of them carry the brand. I was actually looking for something specific - the concealer stick. Anyway, if you know of any discontinuation, let me know.

    Thanks!
