Mad for Maxi
1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 |
Please ignore the cheesy title haha. I've always steered clear of maxi dresses, thinking you need to be 6 ft 2 and a size 6 to pull them off, but recently I've been really drawn to them. I'm trying to inject some colour into my wardrobe, especially as finally the Summer is emerging in Northern Ireland and we're having some nice weather. They can look really stylish during the day as a casual dress. I recently bought a maxi skirt from Missguided, that you'll see in an upcoming haul and I love it, so I'm going to build myself up and try on a maxi dress.
Are you all a fan of maxi and what do you think of the nice weather in the UK?

I absolutely LOVE maxi dresses! Of course you can pull them off, whatever height and shape you are. I'm 5'9 and size 10, so I find that plain jersey racer back maxis work best for me. I wear my plain black one with a brown woven skinny belt and denim jacket and it's one of my favourite outfits! Quiz do some really beautiful bright maxis with gorgeous patterns which are a really flattering material too. They ALWAYS have them on sale for quite cheap as well! Be brave! :-)

DeleteI never used to wear maxis either because I am 5'1, but ever since I got pregnant, I've worn them non stop! It's the only thing I am comfortable in right now, especially because its been super hot here in Texas!
