One times Three

I thought I'd take one simple pencil skirt and style it up, so that we have three different looks. I've never been a massive fan of pencil skirts, always preferring skater skirts, but for winter, I think there is something about a pencil skirt that symbolises understated elegance. They can be really sexy as well and look amazing, day or night.

This is my perfect pencil skirt. I have a thing for black skirts (must be the slimming effect!) and I also adore the pleather trend at the minute, so this encompasses both. I think it looks sleek and sexy and can be worn so many different ways.


For a day time look:

I really adore this River Island jacket. It is so versatile and can be wore with so much. This soldier vest top would look perfect tucked into the pencil skirt. The creepers finish it off and just give the outfit something a bit more relaxed and casual.


For "the office" (a more dressed up, polished look):

I love this top. It's so appropriate to wear during the day and with long sleeves, it means you only need to throw on a light jacket, even in winter! This bag is big enough to through in all of your daily essentials and will go with absolutely anything. The red shoe gives a pop of colour; add a red lip and it will really make the outfit striking.

I love leather jackets and think they are perfect for day to night! Following on from my recent stud obsession  is my spike obsession and I think these heels are the perfect going out shoes. This bralet, from Topshop is a gorgeous colour and makes the pencil skirt even sexier. Perfect for a night out.
