Must stop buying make up...

Maybelline 24 colour stain in ruby red     //    rimmel match perfection foundation     //     Loreal super gel liner     //     Loreal telescopic mascara      //     Maybelline colour tattoos    //     Loreal infallible foundation     //
  mua heaven and earth palette

Well, this does seem like an excessive amount of make up to buy within a two week period. However, I'm trying to justify it too myself as everything was either bought on a 3 for 2 deal or with boots points. I'm proud of myself for finally branching out from Max Factor foundations and trying something new. I'm very pale with pink undertones, so I find it hard to get a colour match on lower end foundations, as they seem to cater for more yellow tones (i.e they look completely range on me - not a good look!).

I just wanted to give a quick update and let you all know that there's a life update type post coming up soon just too explain my absence and my first outfit post should be up next week (Which I'm equally nervous and excited about).

What beauty bits have you been buying and have you tried any of these?

Ellen x

  3. Oh trust me you shouldn't feel bad about buying that amount of makeup. Some people buy that amount once a day! :) But I can't wait to read the reviews for all the products.

  4. This is probably going to sound bad, but you really shouldn't feel bad. I had a huge haul a couple weeks back and bought this amount of products in two hours. I'm horrible at self-restraint. I've been wanting to try the L'Oreal and Rimmel foundation! And the MUA palette looks lovely! x

  6. I have the same problem with foundation - anything pale enough seems to be yellow-toned and makes me look a weird colour! Looking forward to seeing reviews on these foundations :)

  15. That Loreal Infallible foundation is one I use daily. It's the only one that has stood the test of time against all others for my dry skin! And honestly, this isn't too bad. At least you're buying drug store makeup, instead of brand name make up which costs $$$$$ and it does the same thing as drugstore cosmetics too haha. The telescope mascara also rocks. I'm totally a Loreal girl!

  18. I love maybelline colour tattos. I know what you mean about trying to find foubdation. Whilst my skin is slightly yellow toned its much paler than most drugstore foundations and I can really struggle. I've just bought hundreds if pounds of baby stuff at boots but I've promised my husband I won't spend all the points on make up. It's so tempting though! X
